The answers you got before were all based on ORIGINAL 166 style BMW wheels, manufactured by BBS in Germany.

Yes, yes, yes. You can run them with NO problem at all. As I and others said before, just choose the correct tyre sizes and not the M5 tyre sizes, as these would be +5% out on rolling radius and circumference.

i've been trying to locate a shop that carry the 166 replica's that "are not"made in taiwan. (heard lots of bad things about quality/finish) to no avail. think you can shoot over the contact info of where you got your german made replicas?? if the price comes close to the oem's.., i might as well get the real deal.
Depends where you are if it's worth it. Mine are from wheelmania in the UK. They are 8x19 and 9x19 and I run them with Uniroyal Rainsport. The price will be somewhere around the 1100,- pound mark I'd guess.

www.bmwmstyle.co.uk do the originals including tyres for around 1500,- I think

good point. My M5 (166 style) replicas are made in Germany and I have never had the slightest problem with them. Perfect finish, no vibration, nothing.
have you found R18 replicas in widths 8J (front) and 9J (rear)? I searched but wasn't able to find any model whatsoever. they seem to only make replicas in 8'' wide.

Man,
I can see how the original poster is confused. He asked about OEM 166s not replicas. Please any further discussion about replicas put in in a new thread.

I have the OEM rims on my 545. They will also fit your 530.

My Ride: BMW 530d M Sport 2008
Default Do the m5 19" 166 style fit on my 530d 2008 ???

i have the bmw 530d 2008 m sport with the 172 style on it
front 245/35/19
back 275/30/19
i will like to get the m5 166 style but i heard they don`t fit..specially the front wheels
i plan either way..15mm spacers for the existing rims i have 172 style and leave the front like it is or get the M5 166 style
I understand the M5 19" style r
Front 255/40/19
Rear 285/35/19

I LOVE THE M5 19" Style...i love them so much and i hope you guys can tell me if they will fit
Let me know please if u know or post me to some 1 who did it or something..
Thank you

They will fit, just put the same size tires you currently have on your car on the new rims.
