Default hankook or conti

Does anyone have experience with Hankook V12s and Conti DWs. Which one is better for summer use? Price is not a major issue since http://4wheelonline.com offering me a discount. Just curious which one is better in terms of grip, comfort and handling. Thanks for any help.

Hankook is better for summer use.. worse for the all season. Conti has Hankook beat for the all seasons.. a little squishy for summer.

I recently just got a pair of Hankooks since I have dedicated winter tires and I didn't want to go with straight summer tires.

I've run the EVO V12's for the past 3 years and now running the EVO2 V12's. I run them year round and they are great, even in the rain.

I've had both and I like the v12's as they are stickier, but like the dw's for daily driving

There is an $80 rebate on these hankooks ventus v12 evo2s, if you buy 4.

Michelin pilot super sports have a $70 rebate.

About $850 for michelins and $650 for hankooks...plus that rebate so good deals right now.

No experience with either of these specific tire models but I had Hankooks on my 2009 Altima. the ride was OK for the first 40K miles but then the tires got hard and it was miserable. Got rid of them at 50K with 5/32nds tread remaining.
I also just put some Conti's on our 2014 Mazda CX-5. Quiet, great traction and my mileage seems to be up compared to the oem's. So far I'm very impressed with them.
I realize this is not an apples to apples comparison but when it comes time to replace the tires on our 328i or 535ix it won't be Hankook and likely will be Conti based on my personal experience. .

40k on tires? sheesh.. yeah v12s wont last 20k on these cars, nor will any decent sporty tire. I've had v12s and they are a great summer tire for the price. I'm not on Conti DWS just for the all season purpose . You cant go wrong with v12s.
