Default Continental DWS on 550i... anyone else?

After weeks and hundreds of dollars trying to diagnose a wandering feel in my 550i it has been narrowed down to the new Continental DWS tires. I ramped the pressure up to 44psi and it calmed it down but this is ridiculous that i have to run this air pressure.

Anyone else running or have ran them on their 19" wheels? Experiences?

Thanks!

Yes, I have the same DWS tires on my 550i. And unfortunately have the same issues plus vibrations that come and go. I think these tires are just too soft. Yes the ride is great, but you sacrifice the precise feeling of the car. I would not buy these tires again. I think I will stick with michelins from no on.

Just a thought. M 2010 M Sport was dodging and dancing all over the place. WA highways like many other states have a lot rain grooves. sometimes the car would nearly lurch out of the lane. Here is a simple test. Drive or have someone drive the car at 1 to 3 miles an hour and look to see if the front wheels appear to be moving for and aft, maybe one to two inches. If so, the lower control arm bushings are worn out or cracked allowing the front wheels to move laterally 1 to 2 inches while driving. It happened to me.

I run the DWS on my stock 18s in the winter and love them with 0 issues.

Had them and had no problem. I can say that they are good all season tires but nothing special.
