Why does every time I keep coming back to the forum and check new posts it shows me 16 pages?
I've already marked them as read.
Is that a bug?

via quick links, I have chosen "Mark forums as read" which does clear the "New Posts" list.

"Sorry, there are no new threads to view.
You may search for threads updated during the previous 24 hours, here."
but via vblive there are in fact new posts...
the word "here" is a link, when i click that, i do see the same new posts i see via vblive....forum bug or just vb feature that takes some getting used to?
I would think new posts would show up regardless, but the way the message is stated, it's only searching for just new threads, not posts?

I think it's working as designed. The vblive function seems to populate the newest messages on initial run. After it "catches up" and settles down, it'll show new posts as they happen.
The view new screen seems to work well but once you read or mark things as read, the vblive feature may be a good way to monitor things without having to continually press "view new".
That's the way I see it but again, I could be misunderstanding things...

agreed, seems the new posts feature is playing catch up, I find myself viewing via vblive more than anything along with today's posts under quicklinks...
