My Ride: 2007 530i. Purchased 6/28/07. Titanium Silver Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Dark Poplar Trim, Steptronic, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Bluetooth, Adaptive Control Xenons. 10/30/07 Added OEM 124s with 245/40/18 & 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. prior to IB purchasing 5series.net you were able to purchase branded merchandise, due to the change ownership of this site, all merchandise available was taken down/no longer available...

1.) Who is IB? Some company that buys/manages forums sites? Just interested to know, because I am a web developer.
2.) Would I be infringing on anyone if I had my own hoodie made up with the logo from the Forums Header?

I'm sure one of the IB guys will chime in soon but IB manages all kinds of forums, IB, short for Internet Brands, a publically traded company. The forums were sold to them last year.
We used to have merchandise available on cafepress.com but that was taken down with the ownership change. Few members bought any items there so I didn't see it as too much of a loss. Although I must say the 2010 calendar we put together was pretty awesome! You can make your own hoodies for your personal use but if you want to sell them here then make sure to get permission from the IB guys (either Robb M. or speedlimit). Similarly with being a Contributor, we had to stop accepting donations with the ownership change.

If someone was inclined to make some hoodies, and offer them to the community, it's possible that an arrangement could be reached to enable this.
