I'm sitting on my 17" 122 wheels & tires and I'm struggling with what is a fair and reasonable price to ask. The wheels are perfect....without even a hint of dust anywhere (including the back side)...and the tires have 500 miles on them. I checked the tire prices at Tire Rack and for the four tires alone...it would be about $1000 (U.S.)
I recently purchased oem 18" 124 wheels at cost of $2000 including shipping. I figured that was a reasonable amount to pay in that replicas (AAA, Wheel Exchange etc...) with tires were going to be, at a minimum, in the $1500.00 range. And then there would be shipping on top of that. In addition I take more comfort in seeing "BBS" stamped on the back of the wheels vs. "non-oem"
I also have perfect shipping boxes for the wheels/tires thanks to the gentleman I bought the 124's from.
I think if I could clear a $1000 I would be happy...what do you guys think...is that too much, too little or is it fair and reasonable.
Sorry if this is coming off as a thinly veiled attempt at a ?for sale? add?that?s my intent. I?ve had good success with E-Bay in the past and figured that?s the route I would take with these as well
Thanks
Chris

I saw a set of the other 17" stock WHEELS (new takeoffs-no tires) go for $400. I think if you get $1000 you will be lucky, but you are not that far off. I would put them on eBay after you have them on roadfly for a little bit. Frankly, if you can wait, you would do much better by waiting until the fall timeframe, as someone with 18"s might want some 17s for the winter. Just my .02.

I can wait no real rush...I asked this same question over at RF...about a month or so ago (back when I went to that site)...and I heard the same? $400 with no tires...seems low...but we'll see. Maybe I'll shoot for $1000.00 and throw in the shipping...that might make it more appealing to potential buyers.
I'll probably give E-Bay a shot in a couple days and see what happens. And if that doesn't pan out...I'll just give it more time.
Thanks for your response
