removed from an m5 e60 2008 model with 12000 miles

in good working order

isnt this the same CCC that comes in the 04-09? or is it the CIC from 2010?

Should be. He has an 08, and the CIC units were rolled out sometime in mid to late 09. The screens definitely aren't compatible between the 2, unfortunately.
