Unhappy BMW 5series not starting.

hey guys! after my car was towed i went to pick it up. it wouldn't start. try to jump started noting. got a new battery still nothing. the dash is even turning on. only my radio works no headlight no horn. the key doesn't even open the doors anymore i have to do it manually . the car is at 100K 2004 5series.

do u guys have n idea what might went wrong.

If you have no KL15 ...you have no dash lights except the key symbol then its most likely your key transponder. Not the remote..the transponder. $170 fix. Try your secondary key keeping the first key away from car. If it works then you know the problem. Just use that key and save your $170.
I find it a bit odd that your radio works too though.

If you do not get KL15 (dash lights) and you don't get crank its most likely the transponder. If you get a new key it will start but you have to program the key to the car. This takes about 10 seconds and is widely known and available info. No need to have dealer make you wait 30 min to do. They just like to show off as if its something special to do.
