Welcome and congrats on your new ride. You'll love it more with each passing mile.
This forum is great and you will learn more about your car everyday. The posts are very insightful & informative. Occasionally you'll come across someone who's head is up their a$$ (that's usually me - right Rudy?) but the members here are kind enough to point you in the right direction.
Enjoy!

Welcome newbie(s)!
Be sure to read the FAQ forum and feel free to do a search through the archives of the other forums. As much as we love to help out around here, many, many answers and many, many informative posts are sitting there just taking up space.
I know you'll all enjoy your cars even more once you become familiar with the information contained on this site.
One word of advice to the newbies -- this place is like a crack pipe -- it keeps calling you and calling you.....
(realtyman, glad to see you pulled your head out for a while -- it's nice to get some air once in a while, isn't it? )

Yeah, but now I've noticed that my AC is starting to smell. Hasn't happened on any of my previous BMW's (or other makes for that matter). Time to do a search on the board for stinky A/C.
Oops. Starting to hijack the thread. Sorry.
And if this board was Only as addictive as crack I'd be in much better shape.

Welcome aboard!!!
Which dealer you'd purchase it from??? Town & Country??? Downtown BMW???
If you are living in the North, I suggest you go to the new dealer in New Market for servicing, since they'd have the best service!!!
I went to Town & Country for servicing before, they always have long wait list and the service is just so so....

After delivery, your new vehicle takes the elevator to the ground floor.
They also put cars on the 5th & 6th floor like a big showcase which you can see from the DVP !! this is not a separate tower-like structure like other bmw dealership where they stack the cars up.
I'll take post pictures if you are interested. btw, how do I post pictures?
/img url ? (what goes after the url? I don't remember... another /img?)
