Hey,
My name is Tamarah and I'm from Jacksonville, FL. We recently bought an 06 325 and now I'm thinking about adding an 06 545 to the collection. I'm here to learn more about what I'm getting myself into and also check out different styles and ideas. I've been around the car scene for years, but this will be my first Euro, since the 325 isn't exactly mine =P. I look forward to browsing this site and expanding my knowledge =)

If you've had good luck with your 325 you may be spoiled. I think you'll find that many early e60s (especially the V-8s) require more expensive repairs and maintenance. If economics are what attract you to an '06 it's best to find one with low mileage or shop for an 07-08 that is CPO'ed. If not, consider an aftermarket warranty from a reputable company.

Good luck with your hunt for another BMW - maybe someone here has one for sale

One thing though - you won't find an '06 545 available, at any cost, as they were discontinued in '05. The 550 was launched in 2006!

Hi Tamarah and welcome! Car shopping is always fun, isn't it...? My wife and I recently picked up a 535 Touring and we are loving it! We considered a sedan, but coming from VW and Audis, we're wagon lovers at heart.

Good luck on the search, I'm sure you'll love the power of the 545!
