Just wanted to say haaaaay!
Hello all,
I wanted to introduce myself and say I love this site. I have always loved wagons. my first wagon was a 1975 AMC Matador. It was huge, beige and fun to drive. I could put a full sheet of plywood in the back and close the tailgate! Loved that car but had to sell it to make ends meet a while ago. I always keep my eyes open and when I saw this one I fell in love. The color, options it has, I had to have it. It is a 2010 E61 with 95k on it. It's a 2 owner car and was always maintained at BMW of Seattle. I made sure that I got an extended warranty and will use it to take care of anything that needs to be fixed so it does not break the bank.
Here are the specifics:
2010 E6, 95k
Neptune blue
cold weather package
premium package
comfort seats
HUD
LDWS
L7 surround sound
All options work, even the comfort seat thigh supports! Heard they always break.
Here is what I have done so far:
Walnut blast the vavles
new starter, water pump, thermostat, 2 new coils and new plugs
I have ordered the Carly adapter so I can see what codes it is throwing and to code some of the options like i-drive controls and comfort access options.
Thanks to what I have read here on recalls and 'issues', next week I am going to be going to the dealer to see if the injectors, HPFP have been replaced and hope they take care of me...
I'm excited to get started on getting my car up and running like a well oiled machine, lol
I will defintely be posting updates on the progress.

Here are the first pictures I've taken. I he not seen any others this color. Was Neptune blue a rare color? I like that it had the blacked out chrome.

Chea,
I sent a request to join. Would like to meet fellow wagon owners.
I think it's funny when I tell people I want a wagon I get the "why in the hell would you want one of those?! You should get an SUV"
I tell them that I do not need a high off the ground truck - like vehicle to get the space. I like that you get all the space without having a huge obnoxious SUV and... wagons look better.

They just don't understand. I have had 5 door hatchbacks, SUVs, and now a full-blown wagon and the utility is amazing without the cumbersome handling that comes with most SUVs.
