congrats. the d7000 is a great choice. had it been available when i got my camera, i would have definitely picked it up. the place i use, sells the body for so cheap, it would make your head spin. in the end though, it's all about the glass -- which can get quite expensive. lol!

I have a Nikon D3000. I only have the "stock" lens lol. I believe a 18-55mm. Ive been wanting to get different lenses, but theyre just so damn expensive

As an alternative to the Nikon VR 18-200 like C's, you can take a look at the Sigma 18-200 OS. I picked up on of these and it really is a good 'walkaround' lens, and inexpensive alternative. It serves me well for family photos and such...
