The Normal Ricky Brake units V6.1 that I sell make you loose the rear fog lights and the Brake Force Display.
However I am now offering a NEW Ricky Brake effect cableset that can be used on EU spec pre-LCI cars. This will allow you to convert to the LCI tail lights and also retain your rear fog lights and Brake Force display functions. I'm calling the kit V6.11.
For a limited time only the initial cost of these cables will be £200 instead of the standard £250 and is only available to forum members. Price includes EU shipping.

If you want to see the differences please see attached. V6, V6.1, V6.11.pdf
The positions of the lights in the V6.11 are shown in the picture below. Ofcourse the BF and the Fog are off in normal and braking positions. Many people don't realise that the BF bulb is also a back-up brake bulb i.e. if you main Brake light fails the BFD display bulb takes on as the primary Brake light until you change the main Brake light bulb.

I wish this existed a few weeks back when I bought the normal Bruce-Ricky cables
Any chance us normal Ricky effect-ers can upgrade somehow Bruce?
Would be nice to be able to pass the MOT with the LCI lights installed.

Just got back from meeting the great man himself in person. Thanks Bruce, for all your help with the V6.11.
So as you read above, his latest offer is the ultimate mod for those of you who want the Ricky Effect but don't want the inconvenience of loosing the rear fog lights. Got my LCI lights installed and took some pics. In my opinion, the Ricky Effect is much more desirable than the factory LCI set up where pressing the brake actually obscures the rods. So Bruce's new V6.11 cables give you the Ricky Effect along with fogs and BFD .
Here are some pics of my newly installed LCI rear lights. The first couple are just with the side lights turned on. The third shows the look with the side lights on and the brake pressed. Forgot to take a pic with the fogs turned on until a bit later in the evening so it has turned darker outside, but anyway you get the idea with the last pic below.
Actually that final pic looks pretty much how factory LCIs look when the brake is pressed - what a waste of those beautiful rods. BMW should have done the Ricky at the factory !! Thankfully we have Bruce and the V6.11 .

The V6.11 is really aimed at EU folks who have wanted the Ricky Brake effect but couldn't live without the rear fogs or the Brake Force Display.

If you have a pre-LCI that was retrofitted with the LCI lights via the dealer then I haven't forgotten you guys. I will be releasing the Ricky Brake cables for those cars. If however you had an LCI car then I'm sorry I will not sell you the cable unless you accept ALL risks.
