Yeah, its tempting. For probably $4500, it could get my car near 300hp which is pretty decent. I could go 535i obviously and then do jb4 for around 400hp, but its gonna cost me at least $25000 to do that, not to mention my car isn't worth much to resell, so its definatley not a bad option. I've put probably $6k in maintenance and repairs in the last 6 months, so it will probably run well for a while.
It just seems funny at the thought of supercharging a 525i, it would be nice if I had a 545 or something and did it, but overall this kit seems like a good deal for a roughly 80HP addition.

My Ride: Fully loaded Dinan Tuned E60 545i Sports Sedan, featuring Dinan high flow intake system, Dinan free flow exhaust, Dinan high flow throttle body, Dinan Stage 3 Performance Engine Management Software, Dinan camber plates, Dinan carbon fiber strut tower brace, Dinan 19" lightweight forged wheelset, Dinan/Brembo GT big brake system, Dinan Polished Aluminum Pedal Kit, BMW "M" footrest, Bridgestone Potenza RE050A RFT's, OEM rear deck spoiler, OEM sun/wind deflector, OEM illuminated BMW door sills, debadged (official "Dinan 5 badging"/emblem earned).
Well, I have a Dinan-tuned 545 here. Though I'm pretty satisfied with my current setup (very sublime!), I certainly would be very tempted in making a similar move for more power and torque!! But sadly, they still don't offer a V-8 based supercharger unit as yet. Oh well, perhaps down the road? BEST REGARDS.

Remember, you can usually re-gear these superchargers by replacing a pulley and produce more than the advertised power. This often results in voiding the warranty.
