There is a group buy going on at the moment: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=53640
The prices are marginally more than the replicas (that anyway miss functions). Check it out..

The best replicas i have seen did not have the auto fold functionality, did not have the paddle lights and did not have the EC mirrors (they get dark when light is projected on them). we are talking about a 50-100 eur saving in the best case compared to the group buy. I was considering the replicas but just prior to ordering them, i bumped over the group buy. tnx god

It is a DIY. Check out http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=53841
No the autofold requires more than just hte function in the mirror - you need the correct Electronic Control Unit and you need a special button on your driver seat to enable autofolding.
