Authetic M5 mirror is too expensive, therefore think about using OEM one.

Thanks guys~

There is a group buy going on at the moment: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=53640

The prices are marginally more than the replicas (that anyway miss functions). Check it out..

The best replicas i have seen did not have the auto fold functionality, did not have the paddle lights and did not have the EC mirrors (they get dark when light is projected on them). we are talking about a 50-100 eur saving in the best case compared to the group buy. I was considering the replicas but just prior to ordering them, i bumped over the group buy. tnx god

My original E60 mirror does not have auto fold functionality.
once i instal OEM M5 MIRROR, it can be fold by pressing the lock button on the key??
by the way, install the mirror is not some simple procedue we can just DIY, isnt it? since it involve lots of wiring, electronics....etc

thx~

It is a DIY. Check out http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=53841

No the autofold requires more than just hte function in the mirror - you need the correct Electronic Control Unit and you need a special button on your driver seat to enable autofolding.
