This is a place on earth everyone should experience for themselves at least once. It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen other than the birth of my 2 sons. At one end of the factory, raw materials are brought in, at the other end, out rolls the cars. All that goes on in between is truly impressive. If you like the Discovery channel type shows (how it's made, ultimate factories, etc...), you've got to see this in person. Also, the drive from Munich to Dingolfing on the autobahn is lots of fun....

E60's for the US market arent built in the US
I thought it made cars for Europe Asian etc.

The X5, X6, and Z4 are built in the US and exported to other countries (with the X3 scheduled to be built there soon.) The E60, on the other hand, is built in Germany and exported to the rest of the world (except China, where they have an "assembly" plant that puts together the cars from kit form...)
