I did a search and could not find anything about adding side cameras to a 2011 F10. The car has navi & rear camera and I was interested in adding the side cameras to the front fenders.

What parts besides the cameras are needed. I assume it would have to be coded by the dealer. If anyone has done this mod and can share some of the issues it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I would add them as well but as if every other electronic mod im sure there is extensive programming required. Hopefully someone with more knowledge on this question will chime in and let us know..

Well we can hope someone has done the mod. installing the cameras seems like the easy part.

It can definitely be done. You'll need the cameras, brackets, wiring, a new KAFAS module and of course coding.

I did some research and found that the module that controls the rear camera has inputs for side and top cams. This being said, vehicle is semi ready for the cameras. It may even be pre wired. I tried to inquire with dealer but they don't know as usual. Only way to find out is to take it apart. May be worth it.
