As much as I love my M I must say there is so much awesome contained in your estimation of what this new M will do.
As I did with this M5 I will wait a couple of years and let someone else take the depreciation hit before I get one. I can't wait to see the new M though.

I may be holding onto my 545i for a little bit longer to do exactly this.

My Ride: Late 2005 M5 in Silverstone Metallic II with Full Black Leather Interior. SMG, LOGIC7, Heated Front Seats, Rear Electric Sun Blind, Comms Package, Professional Nav, TV Function, Extended Voice Control, Adaptive Headlights
I have a distinct feeling that the 0-62 time will be nearer to 4 seconds flat too. If it's only .3 seconds quicker than the current E60, then it's a little lame if you ask me. However, I'll wait to hear/read the genuine facts and spec from BMW themselves. There is a LOT of hype at the moment from lots of magazines trying to "guesstimate" what the F10 will be like, and although we KNOW that it's going to have the 4.4 TT V8 etc, no one can be sure as to what it will be pulling on the strip etc.. I'll bide my time, and not read into anything too much just yet. I reckon I'll be putting a deposit on one though!

My Ride: A Car
i heard that it's gonna be the same engine and turbo as the 550i engine just tuned a lil more. i dunno about that though. Can someone confirm the turbo on the X5/X6 4.4 TT and the X5/X6M? If it's the same turbo and internals, it wouldn't be that smart to buy the M unless u want the M badge,
