Like the title states, why'd you get an E61 over the E91? I'm curious since I'm getting to the point to where I'm considering either or.

I had both and in the end kept the E61. Besides the E61 being bigger there are other differences I noticed:
- Build quality is much better of the E61
- More quiet than E91
- Higher comfort
- Nice square rear compartment compared to the wheels being inside the compartment on the E91
- Options that were not available on the E91, e.g. HUD, Comfort Seats, Electric Rear Trunk, Active Steering

Was a no brainer for me, not even a choice really. With two kids under 10, and a German Shepherd dog, the E91's trunk wouldn't cut it, especially the sloping hatch vs. the more vertical one in the E61. That was it. I looked at the E91 and the A4 Avant, both same issues.

Very happy with the choice though. Had the E91 even been as big, with the engine choices here (and the ability to tune the N54 if you so choose), the E61 would have won out too hands down. I like HP.

Easy: I am 6'8" and the E91 doesn't have the N54.

Says the dude with stage 2+ mods, who's probably running 425 crank HP!

You considered running some E85 since you're at it, to get into the 450+ category for giggles?

I can only run around 4-5 gallons of E85 before the stock pumps can't keep up.
This is fine since I am not terribly comfortable unleashing all the engines torque on the drivetrain.

Hmm... That's about an E30 mix then, which is generally what the off the shelf E mix maps are based on. And your LPFP can't keep up you're saying?

DAMMIT! I should have gone to see this last night, today I called and a popular customer of theirs put a deposit down on it and an M5.

I flat out told the sales manager to put me at the top of the list, if it becomes available I will be there.

Good luck on the deal!

You should set up an Autotrader alert for the car you're looking for. Pretty sure you can do that and it'll email you as soon as one comes up.

Here's a similar one only 200 miles away:

And if you're willing to drive 700 miles, here's one with only 37,000 miles on it:

Unfortunately I've found that people suck at describing the options.

Well, most of cars I've owned in the past have been out of town. Though, I do enjoy the idea of multi-contour seats, the sport wheel, etc

Or rather I use the sport wheel as an identifier for the multi-contour seats ( I believe the seats could also be just an option, but its easier to find the bundle )
