Default VRSF 7" FMIC installed, new brackets fabricated......

Thanks to Evan for the DIY. I just took my install a little bit father by making some brackets.

https://5series.net/forums/diy-do-yo...hassis-138045/

I used the same parts to do the install as listed in the above thread.

Of course, the VRSF FMIC is awesome. Showed up 2 days after ordering. (along with some Downpipes, more on that in another thread.)

I am sending a set of these brackets to VRSF so they can offer them with their FMIC when you buy one!

After installing everything, the car runs amazing.

The wagon, sporting my newly refinished HRE's.

Car looks good and what seems to be some nice go fast bits! What tune do you plan on going with?

The Brackets came out nice, looks like the ones we made when we put our IC on. For the average DIYer this should be an easy but having pre-made brackets helps a ton!

What material did you go with on your brackets? Looks like mild steel? When you say "we" did you do the work or a shop?

Not everyone has the materials, tools, or abilities to fabricate brackets. Doing the install is pretty straight forward, but making brackets intimidates some people, and would keep them from even trying. I wanted to help out and offer up some brackets that would make it a straight bolt on install. VRSF will have a set of these in hand by the end of the week.
