Default It was 63 degrees today and SWAYBAR Magic!

Ok - Vacation time and a warm day here in DC allowed me to install the e61 Euro M5 Wagon Rear Sway bar on my 2008 e61 LCI 535xi.

The difference is amazing. Lane changes are much more steady. Turn-in is drastically improved; almost no roll in the rear; No oversteer and the "push" from hard cornering is gone. This is a no brainer upgrade using standard BMW parts - It works and cost less that $260 USD. Verdict is that I would do this again. And will since we just bought another 2008 e61 LCI 535xi with 60k on it. Let me know if you have any questions.

The EURO e61 LCI M5 Wagon Rear Sway Bar I bought was 33552283036

The EURO e61 LCI M5 Wagon Rear Sway bar Bushings I ordered were: 33551096701

Both of these part #'s cross reference to the US M6 Coupe

To the guys with the RDSport Group buy. Good luck. I have dealt with Federico before and at best he is very dicey.

Thanks for the excellent photo documentation! Did you have the same results I did with the new bar? J

I can feel a difference in the back end being flatter through corners.

I have been thinking about playing around with the KW V3 bump/compression settings as they may not need to be as stiff in the back with the thicker sway bar. Not that I really know how to tune suspension though..
