Seeking fluid specs/recommendations
I have 2009 535xit manual with 70k miles. I'd like to change the transmission, differential and transfer case fluids, but have searched and can't seem to find the correct fluids (I keep coming up with AT threads.) What spec and/or brand/type fluid is recommended for these? I have some Redline MTL on the shelf, but wasn't sure if that was suitable (Redlines website is saying use D6 ATF?) ...
Also brake fluid, is DOT4 or DOT5.1 recommended?
Thank you.

Visit www.bavauto.com ...they're based up in New Hampshire, specialize in nothing but BMW and Mini, have everything you need, and maintain a very extensive blog which answers a plethora of questions and offers how to videos. Otto, their mechanic, will answer any specific questions as well.
Personally, I'd use Liqui-Moly..it's made in Germany with typical fastidiousness and quality. Look at the proper spec on the transmission and then purchase accordingly
