Default Rear pdc fault

Hi all
I have been searching for answers to my problem but am unable to find an answer.
I just bought a 2005 525d m sport and I have a pdc fault keep coming up, the I drive shows something very close to both rear o/s sensors?
I bought a new one off eBay for £26 painted, and replaced the one sensor that wasn't clicking (inner n/s) I then had codes reset but the fault is the same? Changed sensor for another and the prob is still there? I have buzzed out the loom behind bumper and all is ok. The faulty sensor was inner n/s

one and now it registers an object in front of it but I still get the long loud beep sound and it thinks there is something in front of the 2 o/s sensors? Any advice is much appreciated thanks

Is there any water intrusion in the electronics space in the trunk? Perhaps causing a short in the wiring?

Thanks for the reply
Just had the lot out and it's all bone dry? Wiring seems ok there's no obvious signs of water, it rained only yesterday and all the dust that collects there is also dry?
I noticed that the new sensor works fine but the 2 o/s sensors still show up as having something right on them?

Just a quick update
Got in the car last night and drove about 3 miles and the pdc worked fine? All sensors worked front and back, I arrived at my destination and reversed and it all went Pete tong again?
