Cigarette lighter front not working
For about a week or two, my front cigarette lighter is no longer working (I use it as a USB charger). I checked fuses #87 and #88 in the trunk and they seem fine. I also checked the connections to the actual lighter in the front and there's no 12V.
Did I check the correct fuses? Could it be a wiring issue? It worked fine before, so what could be the problem?

Have you had heavy rain? When I got my E61 both front and rear lighters were dead. Once the leaking tailight was fixed and the boot electrics dried out they can back to life.
Check you actually have voltage at the fuses, I didn't.

Model Year: 2006
According to my Bentley manual, it's 61 in E60s built "to" Sep. 2005, and 87 in cars built "from" Sep. 2005 (both in rear). My car was built IN Sep. 2005 and I have same problem, so will see. By the way Bentley says it's 20 amp.

This weekend I had the spoiler off and no water or moist to be seen. Fuses 87,88 and 61 are OK. Furthermore, the outlet in the boot is working and I suppose they're on the same fuse?
With this in mind, I think there's a cable broken somewhere in the front. Since I had my hand brake fixed about three months ago, for which the center console had to be removed, I suppose the mechanic may have hit something or may be the cable is squeezed somewhere. I'll continue in the front of the car now....
Thanks for all the suggestions!
