Hi all,

since this is my first post, let me introduce myself. My name is Chris, I'm from Denmark, but live in sweden (just moved here).

I'm new to the Bimmer-world, and have purchased my first one: a 2009 E61 520D.

I'm having an issue with the steptronic-gearbox. When i'm driving with a steady foot on the gas, it seems to be shifting up and down between the gears (like, it would shift between 3rd and 4th constantly).
This happens at speeds from 20-80 mph - above 80mhp, it seeme to be working fine.
It's as if it cant decide which gear to be in.
If I set the cruise control, it gets "worse" - especially on a slight incline.

shifting manually does not produce the issue..

car has done 240KKM with full service.

Any ideas as to what can be wrong?
Advice is greatly appreciated. :-)
