Nice car!

Sorry to go off-topic, but what steering wheel is that? Is it just standard for all the 08s? I like it cuz it's a lot thicker than mine, no homo.

what's with this no homo stuff. I was listening to sat radio today and a guy called in and gave another guy a compliment and followed it with no homo??? i think i will start saying im hetero every time i give a compliment to a woman...

oh yeah ,nice ride NO HOMO!

I love the look of the anthracite headliner there. I would do one of two wheel options...

First M series 166 wheels in 19 inch variety.

Second M series 172 wheels, same size.

I think the only other thing I would do is add aero kit to the touring and give it that real monster look...

Thank you! I am so glad I added the anthracite headliner, I initially thought it came with the sport package but it didn't. Great addition for 500 bucks. I would love to have the M172 wheels but they won't fit due to the offset (they don't work with x drive) I don't know about the M166? Definitely getting the M sport kit and and thinking of painting or powdercoating whatever wheels I get either a dark gray or black. Any thoughts?

Congrats, really great choice, is not that often seeing somebody from the States posting pics of a wagon.

That is true. I don't know why but wagons over here have a stigma attached to them. Everybody buys SUV's, which I believe is nothing more than a wagon on too much growth hormone. Women (my wife included) also want SUV's, no minivans or wagons. I absolutely love the wagon. Of course, I had a Mini too which attracted it's own share of snide comments and laughter, I would just laugh and accelerate away from them. I have a feeling it will be very similar in the wagon.

You must be proud about both of them. Here in EU and on this forum we are many having both 5er and Mini, me included. We need such small go carts to drive in our congested towns with narrow roads where would be almost impossible to park a 5 series.

I don't know if they will fit or not. That, and the lack of M-sport suspension, are the only downsides of the X-drive on the E61.

I would check with www.bmwwheels.com and see what they have that you can fit. The series 128 wheels are also nice, but are a little more sporty and not as luxurious looking as the 172's or 166's.

Of the ones listed on that site, I also think that the individual wheels 152 look fantastic.

I think powder grey would be okay, not a big fan of the power black....
