Well...i'm 42. My car history isn't very extensive. Learned the ropes in my parents 87ish Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra...first car of my own was a 91 Accord Coupe, then a 1995 GMC Jimmy, then the 2007 Element...now the 2006 530xiT. I've tended to drive cars for nearly 10 years and most were new when bought...the Jimmy i think was a year old (off a lease). Sold the accord in 05...Jimmy 2 years later for the element.

Currently my wife and i have 4 cars between us...a 2004 GMC Sierra, 07 Element, 12 Acadia Denali and the 06 530. With 2 kids and possibly another here soon...if we do get to 3 kids i think the element will get sold in favor of a minivan perhaps....leaves the acadia as the odd vehicle...wife is sort of against the minivan so i may have to let her struggle with the acadia as the family hauler till she comes to her senses. All depends who drives the family around. Currently its her in the acadia...if it becomes to much of a hassle to get 3 in and out of that thing, i might have to go primary driver and move to the van...would keep the 530 for trips alone and maybe downsize the acadia to a mazda CX-7 or something. If all kids were forward facing the acadia would get back some utility, but thats 3 years from now at least.
