How did you get on with this? I am running 19" 9.5J rear ET15 with 275's no issues.

Unfortunately the E61 project is garaged for now. Too many things going on at the same time - have not even started selling my E60 yet

I will probably go for the spacer solution suggested above to get close to standard ET.

How is the wear on your rear tires?

Thanks,

The rear tires are fine, no uneven wear issues or rubbing.

My wheels are not original 172's and are made by a German company especially for the touring models, hence ET15. If you are using original 172's you will need spacers to stop them rubbing. Here they are:

Oh, ok - thanks for letting me know. Mine are OEM, so I need the spacers then

BTW - I see your car is same colour as mine, and even has shadow line. I am going to put M-Tech kit on as well as LCI lights. Looks like they are going to be pretty similar Do you have more pictures posted somewhere so I can see what my future ride is going to look like once I get it out from the garage?

Thanks,

Thomas

Do you know if it legal to use the spacer in DK even if it TUV proved ?

I have been reading on it, and i cant find any info that is legal.

I would really like to have some spacer on my E61 as well

No, I do not know. I would assume that TÜV approved spacers would be ok, but not sure. No matter what, I think you need to maintain OEM ET. So if you want to add spacers to get a "wider look", then I am not sure it is legal...

Cool - thanks. I can't wait to get mine out now. I like the clean OEM look. How much tinting is that on the rear windows? I have the OEM curtains, but thinking about getting a tint as well. I like yours - not completely dark.
