Service rang last night have ordered a new water pump ( from Germany 2 week wait ) and have kept the car in there care ... As they say not advisable to drive it in this condition .Bmw service

Also parcel rack cover is being fixed . This part is coming again from Germany .. Bmw service

All work is being done by Bmw dealership

Will post when fixed

Sounds like you went to dealer. My water pump just died, and I bought a German made OE pump from ECS Tuning and with my indy shop fixing it, I should come in around $1000 Cdn all in, vs. $1500 at the dealer. I saved $300 on parts alone this way. If I had bought all the BMW brand parts from ECS even, I'd have still saved $400.

Make sure to replace your thermostat too, since you're in there, as the extra time involved to do it is negligible at that point, for a $100 part that can fail later.
