A friend told me BMW has 42W bulbs for xenon instead of the original 35W .....
Is it true ?

Sorry, I misread your post. No I don't know if BMW have OEM ones with 50W, but there are many aftermarket ones with 50W. I'm sure its possible to install on the 5.

I haven't had the time to search for the Thai seller, but there's a lot of them on ebay similar to this one.
