KSK is the only "official" distributor for Alpina parts and accessories in the States. All vendors buy through them.

I would recommend combing the classifieds for a used set in good condition. While rare, they are possible to find due to the fact that some Alpina B7 owners sell theirs/totalled B7's get parted out etc.

E60 looks great with them - if that's where you're headed with this

I mentioned it in your other post, but I bought my 20" Alpina Classics from Ebay and opted for the E38 B12 7er rims. Other than the current B5 S moddel, they are the only 20" Alpina CLASSIC rims you can get. (You can get the Dynamic style in 20" for the B6, but that's a whole different look.)

The current B7 Alpine Classic rims are 21", which also work, but they are BIIIG!

Are all the 20" Alpina CLASSIC rims exactly the same? If they are, then it makes it "a little" easier to find 20".

Simple answer: no!

Both the wheels and the tyre sizes are different, because one type is for a 5 series and the other for a 7 series. As you can see in the specs below, the 5 series wheels are thinner and use tyres with smaller walls.

So you can either approach Alpina and get the current plug and play version for the B5 S, or go shopping for a used set from the B12 and use different tyres + spacers to get it to fit. I estimated the B12 option to be approx 1500-2000 EUR cheaper, however I have no idea what prices are like in the US.

The details are below, however I have not found information on what the B5 S' offset (ET) is.

B5 S (E60 5er) 20" Alpina Classic:
Front: 8,5x20, 245/30ZR/20, ET??
Rear: 9,5x20, 265/30ZR/20, ET??

B12 (E38 7er) 20" Alpina Classic:
Front: 9x20, 245/40/ZR20, ET20
Rear: 10x20, 275/35/ZR20, ET32

my 550i set-up using the B12 20" rims:
Front: 9x20, 255/30/R20, ET20, 5mm spacers
Rear: 10x20, 285/25/R20, ET32, 10mm spacers

Here are pictures of the fitment with M-Sport suspension (approx 15mm lower than standard)

You might want to see if you can import from foreign countries. I think Alpina rims are pretty rare in the U.S. and as such there should not be much choice. I love the looks of them so - really classy if you ask me.

You car looks amazing. In US, the wheels alone are about $4750. Not crazy but pretty expensive. Not sure paying about 10% of the car value for rims alone is worth it but I love the look. Ebay seems to have tons of 21" since the new B7 comes with 21" now. The "other" option is to go for the Multi from Beyern but ...

On Ebay Germany (ebay.de) you can buy the B12 E38 7er wheels second hand for around 1400-1800 EUR. There is a set on there right now, including the E38 tyres (which are no good for the E60), and you can buy them straight away for 1450 EUR. Then add the cost of shipping and tyres. It might work out cheaper than you think??
Just search for "Alpina 20" on ebay.de and you will find them -- if you are quick!
