Default What do you guy think of these LCI tail lights?

Ordered these set last Sunday. They arrived and installed today. Brand New PnP baby for a price you won't believe ($240). Tell me what do you guy think?

BTW.... they are not OEM but exact replica made by Depo... hahaha. Can be use on the LCI too. For Pre-LCI, they come with all the necessary adapters to make it work without any errors (as you can see those black boxes in my installed pic. My first night of playing with them, so will see in the long run. By far, worth the $240. OEM retrofit come pretty close to $1K haha

Now I have to figure out the Ricky's effect on these bad boy

Hmmm will Depo lights pay me commission for this..... haha doubt it

WTF!? They look OEM!!! (well, apart from the very bottom red bit under the rods).

The black boxes look like a bit of a mess to be honest, but at that price it's well worth it! Only thing I'd say is if he's using the OEM rear bulb holder, then make sure you add an extra earth point to the bulb holder as the OEM earth connecter has too much resistance and can melt the connector

Good job though mate!

if there are genuinely LCI compatible then you can always try my v6.1L cables to get the Ricky effect. But given that you only spent 240 on the lights, my cables at £130 GBP may not seem worth while even while I sell them at a loss.

I don't blame ya! I've got the LCI tails with Ricky Brake Effect too!

If you look carefully at the connector to the bulb holder (the part that separates from the rest of the tail light), it looks like they used the OEM one - this looks to be the case by looking at the wires going to the connector on the bulb holder (one column of 4 and one of 3).

Can get a picture of mine if you want to confirm, but if it is true and the wires are all in the same place, then Bruce's cables should work with no mods needed to give you the sexy Ricky effect! Perfect to finish off your back end nicely!

Hiya - the Ricky Brake effect means you never lose sight of the red LED "angel" rods in the tail lights when you brake. The mod makes the round inner lights as the brake light, instead of lighting up the bulbs behind the rods, which means the rod area is now always visible, even when pressing the brakes. If you park with a glass window behind you, press the brakes, look in the window you'll see what happens to you brake currently.
