That way if the wrap shrinks, there will still be enough to cover without eventually revealing the chrome.
Eventually I just spent the $240 to get the OEM matte black trim.

interesting...ill keep this post updated with some future post see how it holds up. id hate to take off the trim to vinyl wrap it. all that trouble ill rather just have it painted. either way, i think this was easier than plastidiping and also way easier to remove.

hopefully, other people try out the vinyl method, i know for sure it looks a hell lot better than plasti dip.

I have two questions, anyone can answer, How dificult is it to remove the trim? and is it easy to wrap the roof?
There is a sign shop in my county that are pretty good but expensive.

Removing and installing the trim is very easy...

Looks intimidating at first, but actually easier than it looks once you get the first window done.

There was a DIY on the roof wrap before but haven't looked for it yet.

Saw this post brought back to the top. Vinyl trim still looks like the day I put it on. I want to change it to gloss black now, maybe I'll do a DIY video.

Roskinc, do you have pictures of the ends of the trims?

Default bubbles

I just tried vinyl wrapping my lower window trim and got a ton of bubbles. Got it from shadowlinetrim.com in gloss black. I started at one end and rolled it out onto the trim, (horizontal) Should I have gone vertically? (Basically stretch the whole section out and lay it on from the top of the trim where it meets the window?) Any advice? It looks good from far but up close it looks terrible! Going to rip it off and start over tomorrow. Any help or comment is appreciated, Thanks.
