I did a search for "Upsolute" and found nothing.

Has anyone ever purchased this engine software?? I'm considering it for my 545i. I'd have to pull the ECU and send it to them with a couple days down time.

The claims:

Yes 20 hp sounds a bit optimistic but I'm sure it will add something?

The Upsolute rep told me, it would be $350 plus $30 express return shipping to North Carolina they do have multiple locations as well, but none near me. And of course I'd pay to ship to them.

They "do not change the top speed but can raise the rev limiter" (I'd probably leave it stock) and "definitely improve throttle response, along with 20 hp and 20 ft/lbs torque gains" on the 545i. "If the dealer flashed the ECU they would provide me with a new file based on the dealers revision free of charge with the exception of shipping costs. If my ECU died 3 years from now they would re chip the new ECU again free of charge except for shipping cost."

I think I'd do it. Only now wonder if anyone has used them before?? Any dyno results? They come from Austria.

When I inquired about dyno results they said:
"Austria has an in house Bosch dyno, we do not typically release dyno info, it means nothing outside that car anyway, It will not predict well what you will see on your car, each dyno is different, each car is different. We do have a 30 day money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the file we will refund your cost of the chip and return your stock file to the ECU."

Money back gaurantee sounds pretty good to me.

I say do it - you'll like it.
Although I didn't use the company in question the numbers I got are about the same as mentioned - air filter and muffler add a little more - been pleased with the results for the last 2 years going. Agree with the notion of sticking with stock rpm although I've delimited the top speed.

They sound legit, according to their website. With a guarantee, what do you have to lose? I may look into them in the future.

Yes, I have it on my 545i . Honestly it is hard to notice but it is noticeable (it is not placebo!! haha). Get it and if you don't like or feel it, you can ask for refund within 30 days. no question asked. They are legit. Good luck

Did you think it made your throttle response better? Did you put your exhaust on before or after the tuning?

correction: I found threads just like that which basically asked the same q's as me w/o answer and had people who were soon to put it on but with no results/feedback.
