Hey Tex,
When you pull it off or out (the Off Dial), do you grab the outer silver ring part or just the black cover within that silver outer ring part? Thanks in advance.

Great find! I have 3 cracked buttons. Just a hairline crack through the center. I think the dealer said it would cost be close to $1K to fix. I noticed it 2K miles after my warranty expired, they said if I showed it to them before they would have replaced it for free.

Ever since I got my car back from getting my front bumper installed around 2 years ago I've had the top portion of the off button on the AC chipped out. Its bothered me everytime I got in the car, and I was told I would need a entire new unit. I almost bought a used one off ebay for $90ish just to fix that since it ruined the look of the dash. Well a member recently posted that you can buy the knob set. Now I couldn't find the single knob to buy but the entire set wasn't too expensive. Wanted to pass along for those who had theirs chipped too, I know there are a number out there. Here is a link to the part number.
Search 61319250196 - ECS Tuning
If anyone else happens to need other buttons out of that set I only needed the off button, so I have the rest of the set...
