My 2006 525i doesn't come with power folding mirror which a pain where I live. I plan to do the retrofit of power folding mirror but cant seem to find a decent pair. Don't American e60s come with these by default? In case I cant find a set for E60, can I use a set from F10 and retrofit? Has anyone done this before? Thanks

I'd like to know if other mirrors might fit as well. I was planing to compare my sisters F10 mirrors to the ones on my E60. I'm not a huge fan of the brick shaped E60 mirrors and M5 mirrors are so expensive.

And yes, E60 comes with power folding mirrors in the U.S.
You'll need a mirror switch that has the fold button and I'm sure some other electrical parts as well.

Are those SA430 surely equipped with power fold? There are some listing on ebay and when I asked, the sellers said they're not power fold though the mirrors came with all goodies like led, auto dim and heated. Weird! They should come standard power fold, right?

All US M5's have power fold. All 08 and up US mirrors have power fold, before that it wasn'tavailable in the US.

Now I already got myself the RH08 mirror with SA430. Need a LH one.

Are they gonna fit on my pre-LCI?
