Did you ever run something in the 8.5" ET20 range on the front with stock fenders? Possible? I ran ET20 all around on my Pre-LCI E90, which had OEM offsets close to an E60 Xdrive. I thought it was about perfect.

I'm considering doing the brake swap, so I would prefer the lower offset in the rear. Unfortunately all of the wheels I'm considering are sold as a set of four wheels in either E9X/F3X (~ET35) offsets or RWD E6X (~ET20) offsets.

If this is in fact directed towards me...

I ran stock 17x7.5, then 19x9.5 et32F and 24?R Something like that, search my threads and you can find the exact specs. The 19x9.5 square setup was on stock fenders with stock brakes but fenders were rolled and pulled.

For those of you looking into what offsets, diameters, widths, tires, etc. I can't stress enough the importance of using Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit Search Google and the forums, make notes of what does and does not work on other E61s, and plug those numbers in and confirm for yourself. You will be a fitment expert in no-time.

Don't really have a good picture, but would say - they stick out about 10mm on those completely stock fenders...
oddly enough , they don't ever rub.

PS: will get some good pics later

@ ucsbwsr

yes, 295 on those rims is quite the "non stretcher"..
I love the meaty looks though!!!

Plus, the car, in it's stock form, feels quite wobbly, so i can't really tell if its the tires
....comes useful, protecting the rim from curb rash

Wheels are in. I measured the offsets and are exactly what I ordered (et12) unlike my first set which were off by 4-5mm

I snagged a set of TPMSs so I don't need to dismantle my 19x10s to get the 11s up and running. Tomorrow my tires should be in and they will be mounted. After taking the offset measurement I test fitted the wheel only to check clearances, I dumped the rear with INPA for the most accurate scenario possible while stationary in the garage.

There is definitely not a lot of space and the extra 3mm of poke is really noticeable. At the dumped height at which I was testing my current 19x10 275/35 would rub badly, you can see the rear bumper actually sitting on the tire in some pictures. For reference I only rub under BIG highway compressions so I feel this was a pretty accurate garage test.

Where I poke 3mm more and the more I poke the chances of rubbing get exponentially higher after a certain point and I think I am close that that point, but I think tire stretch will come to save the day. Where I poke 3mm more on each side my 275 tire will be stretched an additional 25.4mm total which one can assume is ~12.5 per sidewall. I am assuming that in the tire will be under equal stress from each side stretching it. So making the assumption that the sidewall pivots at it's midpoint from the nearest wheel edge pulling it outward and the farthest wheel edge pulling the top of the sidewall back inward there (in my mind) should be equal or greater clearance until the midpoint of the sidewall meets the fender under compression. I am hopefully that this additional tire stretch will make all the difference in relation to the wheel path and negative camber under compression and may alleviate ALL rubbing, we will see. Sorry if your head exploded while reading this paragraph, I tried my best to get my sporadic ideas into words.

Thankfully last time I had my alignment done I had them dial out as much negative camber as possible so if push comes to shove I can add some more to alleviate rubbing, in general I avoid negative camber when possible since I don't track my wagon and there is usually already some negative camber associated with my ride height. I can roll my fenders a bit more, we will see tomorrow!

The pictures should be self-explanatory, the last 3 show where I rubbed when I was testing with my 19x10 with the 20mm spacer removed, I think tire stretch will alleviate some of this medial rubbing as well.

Its gonna be tight!!! but it looks like your gonna make it work. Are your fenders pulled to the max? you can always have them pulled in a body shop and essentially widebody her if your willing to fork out the $$$. Might be pricy but would solve any fitment issues lol.

Default any difference for 535 for 9.5in SDC front?

Evan, Booya,

You guys have beautiful cars, I love the look.

I am also wanting to do the same F14 SDC on 535i, KW v2, stock fender/brakes. Can I do the following:
19x9.5 et22 + 10mm = et12 245/40/19 SDC
19x10 et25 275/35/19 SDC

I currently have style 124 18in with 10/20mm spacers front/rear. Willthisfit is saying "this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 21.1mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 17.1mm more than before". Does this mean I will be rubbing my KW on the front?

What does it take to roll/pull fenders for the 9.5in to fit up front? You do it until it looks right? I have never done this before.

Are there any camber adjustments required, I was with the impression you can't do much here without camber plates.

Booya, why did you go with 9in semi concave instead of the 9.5in SDC? If I don't do SDC but just Deep Concave 9.5in, is it the same problem because of the width of the wheel?

I'm not sold on this black wheel (my car is black) but looking for this sort of look. I don't have to be that low between fender/tire:

thanks for any help and insight
