Sup everybody!
Long time reader, first time poster. I got my E60 last month and just put on rims. Not satisfied with the Sport Package drop. Can members with Sport Package and 19's lowered with H&R Sport springs please post pictures of your rides? Seen a lot of 20" setups, but want to see what the springs look like on 19's.
It's my understanding that H&R Sport springs will lower a Sport Package 0.7" (front) and 0.6" (rear). I'm not sure if that will be low enough for me, but I think the H&R Race springs would be too low. Only solution to that would be to get coilovers, but I don't want to spend that much if I don't have to.
Though H&R Coilovers would be the most affordable route, my concern is that they would ride too stiff. It seems members prefer the KW Varient coilvers for their damper control. What shop did you guys get your Varient 2 or 3 coilovers installed at and how much out the door?
Looking forward to your replies. Thanks!

My Ride: 2007 550i..... ex
Well from the pics that I've seen (if you can find them via search) the H&R sports will close the gap nicely. I'd say at the most a finger to 1.5 finger gap. IMO that's all you would need to really avoid hard bumps, scraping, or even messing up the fenders.

Here are two e60s with exactly what you want to see. Only difference is one has 166s (275 rear tires)vs 167s (285 rear tires). I bet that brian1225 is having a ball that his cars is being showcased so much.
Mine (545i):

Here's an example of e60 550i with H&R Race springs. Just to let you see the difference between H&R Sport and Race. It's iceman316's ride. Big baller.
Side-by-side comparison of iceman316 and mine.

Personally like the look of sport springs with 19’s better than race. But both are stunning!
