My understanding is m-ask controller is free spinning and ccc and newer offer a force feedback, aka won't allow scrolling past the end of a menu. Maybe that detail is important concerning your current issue.

Thanks ETNav. When you say not being able to spin pass the end of a menu I'm confused. I know my controller now is free spinning and the new one isn't. But I should still get it to scroll thru my iPod song list regardless, right...

A simple answer would be yes, but I remember reading a topic a few years ago where a guy tried to put the older ccc controller on a M-ask unit. I believe he had to code it to make it work properly. I'm horrible at the coding side of things but I think it might have been changing something to MULF high.

Hopefully somebody more knowledgeable about it can step in at this point and tell me if I'm wrong or not.
