Now im just trying to see if the godspeed ones are any good. I saw them on ebay listed for 10,000 .... maybe they put the price so high up so no one buys them because they are sold out. But idk still waiting on ISC to respond. They got 2 options on the page one is e60/e61 coilovers, the 2nd one says X-drive E61. So not sure what to choose if i were to order.

The godspeed ones are defiently on my list if they are more confy than my springs right now. Less bounce at least, and it dosent feel super stuff. I do want to go lower from what i am on now. Tho I will have to roll my rear fenders probably.

Kasmo,

Yea it's unclear to me as to whether or not ISC has coilovers made for our xi SEDANS available, I get that they have them for wagons, but it's a different setup.. who knows? I can't seem to get a straight forward answer..

And yea I'm going to hold out until we see some reviews of the Godspeed ones, then maybe pick up a set..

I just found your threads because I am also looking for a suspension solution for a 08 535xi that I just bought with stock shocks/struts and H&R 29146. My first I ride I was like this is nice just a little bouncy until I drove through a dip and bottomed out the front suspension. These remind me of my Navi air suspension when they wouldn't hold air very bouncy and not enough rebound to stop bottoming out. Now I am looking for stock shocks or what I wanted to ask is will stiffer shocks/struts tame these springs you and I got or do we need to replace it all with a matched coil over?

I haven't been under the car but what is the difference in the shocks/springs of the 535i vs 535xi. Is it just springs rate and shock valving or is the configuration different?

When I went on Godspeed website they don't list any parts when I enter 535xi but when I click on your old link some come up that I also see on Ebay.

2003-2010 BMW 5 Series E60 MonoMAX Coilover Suspension Kit (AWD) :

Godspeed GSP Monomax coilover Susp Damper Kit for 06 10 BMW 5 Series AWD XI E60 | eBay

Has anyone tried these? If so what were their experiences. I need something soon my car is garaged until I solve this.

Thanks

I dug up the old thread and asked them again on there to make sure. I couldnt wait and I bought the H&R springs last year, now 6 months after, I rather get coilovers, the lowering springs are too bouncy for my taste. Kinda sucks... i feel like i tossed out 270 bucks out the window just because I couldnt wait lol.

Rowekmr,

Don't order those coilovers from eBay on that link. I just contacted them. They out "AWD XI" in the title but they don't fit the compatibility chart shown for our all wheel drive sedans. I've contacted them..

Well Island Road has not contacted me back yet to confirm anything, ill see if maybe they did on one of the threads. Im starting to lean into air suspension again... I got quoted about 4,500 grand for everything and that includes auto leveling etc, basically top of the line set up. The only thing that bugs me is the fact that I dont want to wake up one day and oh look....one of my bags are shot... i cant drive the car now. The coilovers give me that better sense of it will work... it will last for a good time. I just dont know... 4500 for air suspension or like 1,060-2,500 for coilovers.

So do the Godspeed awd coil overs fit on our xi model sedans?

https://5series.net/forums/e61-touri...review-140959/ This is the thread about Xi and suspension set up, check it out. Island Road pretty much posted as they were making their coil overs.

I wouldnt go for the godspeed ones, the Island Road (if they work with sedans) i feel like is a happy medium, not to expensive and you know that they will work. Its made by a company that makes suspension setups and specializes in that.

Kasmo, after reading the thread and seeing what the company has to offer, they do NOT make coilovers that fit sedans, only the wagons with rear air suspension setups..
