Waste of money IMO. Most elaborate intakes, except for the Dinan and stock, are more bling then function. Just get the BMS DCI's for $100.

They look cheap from that image. If you want to pay up go grab the injen intake from any vendor like topgearsolutions or head to autoanything.com

Personally i think the BMS dci's are a waste of money like any fake cai upgrade, there is little value added by using them. Stick with stock before going that route. Stock is made well, but if you want more noise then go grab the injen, lots of people love it, never heard one complaint about it, and it is quality made. Like booyaaaaa said, dinan makes a mint one, but the cost far exceeds the value added.

The bms DCI's are not advertised nor state that they are a CAI system. If you plan to run OTS maps from Cobb or run a JB4 with no other mods then any intake mod is not needed. However when you plan to run custom maps or boost levels in the high teens then a DCI intake is better suited since it allows for a larger volume of air to be ingested by the engine vs the stock intake. Yes if you are stopped or in traffic you'll suck in hot engine air but once you start moving that air will cool down rapidly, helped along by the FMIC too. A good example would be drinking a milk shake with a regular soda straw or a larger oversized straw, which is easier to drink with? Also doing logs with my stock box and DCI's, I've seen a very minimal difference in IAT's at idle but once moving the DCI's seems to get cooler quicker then the stock box.

More than likely im going to run the car in JB4 Map #1, so I think im going to just go with the K&N drop in filter for right now.
