Default Just installed Eibach Pro Kit 2007 530i Base

Hello new to the forums I just wanted to share some photos of my install. I just recently installed a Eibach Pro Kit over some Koni Sport Yellows. Also bought and installed 7 series Style 94's. Here are some pictures of my car before and after the install. I isn't super low but I am happy with the ride quality, i didn't lose to much and i can adjust the dampening in the front.

Here are a couple pictures of the old struts and springs being removed and compressed. Install wasn't hard at all just took a few hours. Took a Friday off and installed the Eibach Pro Kit over Koni Sport Yellows then headed to Six Flags the following day. Drove great!

Thanks! Yea i bought the ESM wheels thinking i would lower it later on the 17's but the OEM Goodyears are $211.00 a tire. i needed new tires and rather then pay $844 + mount balance and TPMS rebuild charges i just bought the set of style 94's and tires with TPMS for 1100 off ebay. $1100.00 was with shipping and handling. So i went up an inch on the wheels and replaced all 4 tires for $450 bucks as ive already sold the other wheels for $650.00.

Hi there.
I'm new in this forum too.
I'm thinking of exchanging my SE suspension with Bilstein/Eibach B12 Pro Kit.
Unfortunately I can't see your pics

I already bought a set of wheels, that I will put on the car next spring. I hope to find a way, to see the pics?

Hi from Jimi

Hi there Snicklefitz

You're drop looks realy good. I've been looking at many Pro Kit pitchures, and the outcome is very different. Your car looks great, and I am looking for something semilar. I plan on buying the Bilstein/Eibach Pro Kit, that is a matched shock and spring set. But I have not been shure it was the way to go, because of the looks that are very different on the pitchures on the web. I have been thinking to buy the Bilstein B14 in stead, but your car make me think of the Pro Kit as the best option, with tastefull lowering and great ride

First off thank you alot for the compliments. Car is not the best looking car in the world but im proud of putting in the work on it myself. My car is a 2007 530i Base and my wifes is a 2006 530i with the sport package. When id pull up to her car with her drop on 18's it would kill me seeing my car next to hers. I upgraded to the 18's and instantly felt like i was in the nose bleed section riding very high and the body roll was horrible. I decided to lower the car and after alot of research reading and watching videos i found the Eibach Pro Kit and Koni Yellow combo was route i was going.I had never installed a suspension but i ask The Goog and began reading and looking at pics figured it wasnt to bad and set up a couple days i could dedicate to doing it.

I have to say initially i ordered the sportline because i wanted a lower agressive drop but i changed my order to the Eibach Pro Kit after doing more research because i didnt want to walk my car over speed bumps and dips i find this annoying as my MINI CooperS was this way. The Eibach Pro Kit didnt satisfy in the looks department when i first put it on. I didnt feel like the drop was enough but after driving the car and the springs settling a bit i love it. I used the Koni yellows and i got them at a very good price from Emnotek.com i believe 626.00 free shipping for all 4 adjustible shocks. Rears were set and can only be set before install but the front is adjustible. The car lost very little of the sedan ride quality and i do mean very little, yet you can tell its so much more stiffer in the turns and has very little body roll. When it comes to the Bilstien and Koni shocks i dont believe there is much differnece as some love the Koni others love the Bilstien i dont think you can go wrong with either. Same with the Springs H&R they say are stiffer but give you a lower more even drop where as the Eibach are softer geared toward keeping that ride quality and have the "Raked" look lower in the front and a little higher in the back. My only suggestion is reading and looking at these drops and comparrisons before you do the job. If you do these things there is no doubt you will be totally happy with your turn out.

Thank you very much for the review.

I heard that the H&R's are a bit to hard, and there for I' think that i'm going for a Bilstein B14 coilover instead. This should give better handling, and still a resonable comfort. And I get to drop the car completely even, as with the H&R drop, that I like the look of.
Thanks
