Happy to be of assistance getting the wheels sorted, they will look killer and that lip will help offset the added height the 20s add.

Is your car a 535i or 550i? If is has the N54 then you are FAR from being done with mods.

Slick wagon, got a link to more pics?

Lastly, is that a Corvair in the garage?

Evan
It is the 550. I do have RPI exhaust but haven't even messed with the ECU yet.

I can post more of the E46 in a bit. That poor thing receives a beating from us and the dogs but I am attached and cant sell it.

And yes, 64 Corvair Spyder Turbo. The car belongs to my wife. She was lucky enough to have a grandpa who was into building Corvairs and she was received that for her first car at 16. I'll post some photos of this and her 135i as well.

Small update!

Lip (still not painted), wheels, studs coils and tint all on. Of course fenders were rolled. All dings have been pulled and that made a massive difference even though there was only a few. I am excited for paint to happen next followed by a long over do detailing and my love for OEM center caps !

Looks so good! What color are they powdercoated?

Also, not sure if this is photo was taken "during" the work but check your bumper fitment, it looks like the cover isn't seated into the bracket on the driver side, should be an easy fix.

Also, have those reflectors painted when they do the lip!

Great eye! Yes, they will be buttoning up the bumper. Either my wife or last mechanic parked over a curb of some kind, neither take blame. Luckily the lip hides all the lower damage.

The wheels are "silver" but the color forgestar uses kinda looks like a OEM BMW color. I love a OEM plus look so the color works for me. I was a little bumped when I opened them up though, I thought they would have a little more of a metallic look.

Car looks great. Curious to see how you like the lighter wheel color with dirt and brake dust. The F14 design is a pain to clean (or Plasti Dip) with the depth of the spokes and one of the main reasons I went with the textured gunmetal. I really like how the F14s pop in lighter shades.

I am thinking of powder coating them a new color since the my replacement 19x11 rears don't match the original finish on the front wheels. Going to a gloss finish would probably help cleanliness as well.

Can't wait to see some better pictures!
