you have an LCI, just update the bulbs to something nice and bright, why bother with cutting into your headlights and resealing them.

Umnitza angel eyes = most expensive upgrades which yields nothing, brighter lights? smh

I don't think I could imagine a worse reply to this thread.

i never understood why people would open up their E60 LCI headlights and put different halos, when they are much brighter than the pre LCI ones.

Until i got bulbs from umnitza and i am disappointed, the inner ring is much brighter than the outer one. at night the inner circle looks like a solid light, not a lit up halo and during the day you can't see the outer halo.

Now i understand why people go thru opening the headlights and do all that.

While it's true the inner ring is brighter, it's likely you didn't install the bulb correctly. Most people don't properly line up the leds with the fiber optic tubes, resulting in the outer ring looking pretty dim.

Understandably, though. The bulb area is ridiculously cramped and a proper bulb install takes ~10 minutes just because of that.

It's not as simple as lining up the optic and smd led. It is the actual optic design that BMW uses that always makes the inner ring brighter then the outer rings. Even with HID upgrades, which I don't recommend, still have brighter inner rings then outer rings.
