Short answer is you can't, it all sealed up you would have to buy another headlight or clean the old one.

Headlights have been a widely chatted topic on this forum.
  1. You should be more specific why you are inquiring about (replacing) the clear plastic headlight covers, e.g.:
    • Broken
    • Pitted/scratched/frosted
  2. I strongly recommend you search the forum for (some) advice
    • Purchase used replacements
    • DIY fix for pitted/scratched plastic

The reason I wanted to know was I found a pair of lci headlights but both front plastic covers have a crack on them. When the lights do get opened what glue do ppl use. I read on the forum before that ppl where getting moisture inside from not using the correct adhesive glue. Any suggestions?

Cool how long have you had it on? Have you went through rainy weather? I've heard of ppl opening them up and then getting condensation.

Geez!! sometimes a search does not provide the specific answer you are looking for and sometimes someone may have info that hasn't been posted.
Sometimes when you can't find it you have to ask the questions, nothing wrong with that, I beleive that is what we are here for as a community.
I myself was wondering this as I know many folks out there have stuff laying around after doing retros, I used to find things like that when I had my Honda.

Its hard to tell if that is surface scratches or if it runs deeper. You actually can buy the lenses on ebay at least but they are pricey and you still have to cut everything. If they are surface scratches that can easily be fixed like brand new. The thread I made yesterday goes over how to fix some of that. To me what that looks like is some sort of film over the headlight or clear that has cracked. Often times if people clear headlights its not done properly and it will crack like that. In fact when I did my nightshade this week I had the same effect on one side because the paint was not bonding to the plastic properly. I had to sand it to only 1000 grit(not 2000), and I didn't polish it either before applying and then did really light coats to start off. 99.5% of the time you won't need new lens you can restore them, the other small percentage where you do need to replace could be due to deeper gouges etc. But even then you may be able to use some plastic filler to keep it clear and restore.
