Headlight Help in Philly Area
Hey guys I'm in a bit of a bind. I had some HIDs installed into OEM LCI headlights on my 2004 Pre-LCI 525i. They work damn well courtesy of the crew at Motorcepts (bought and installed the HIDs there into some LCI OEM headlights I bought myself). However two weeks the cable going into the left headlight housing to the bulb broke. Then today, the same cable on the right side broke. I can't think of a better word than broke. I'm not sure how it happened, but I now have error messages for both low beams. High beams are fine, angels are fine, tails are fine.
Bottom line: I need to find a place in the Philadelphia area that can help me out with this. Splicing the cable won't work because the broken ends going into the headlamp are too short. Thoughts? I need these headlights working again and can't drive up to Queens any time soon.
Thanks in advance.

Its either malted or its rubbing on something that caused it to cut the wires. If you bought the light from the shop you should defiantly go back and show them the problem. This should be covered by the warranty as the product is supplied and fitted by them.
I too had upgraded to oem lci halogens and fitted xenons and its been working for about 4 months without any issues and they were a cheap xenons too, nothing fancy.
