Yeah, I think I am done with it. I have been working on it for days and am getting a little tired. I really wish the E60 didn't have that inward slant on the trim. Really made it difficult to make it look good. Still not sure if I am completely happy with where the tablet sits, but it is better that the having just the Mask. I just forked over $60 for the Bose Bluetooth Audio Receiver. I bought a cheap one on eBay and you definitely get what you pay for. The audio quality was horrible. The Bose has great audio quality. After I know the paint is completely dry, I will get everything hooked up, cleaned up (the poor car is a disaster right now from the install,) and get some pics taken. Maybe even a quick video.

Well the hardest part so far has been re-locating the stock Mask. The only place you can put it is under the dash on the driver's side. I had to take the face off of it to get it to work and also had to remove the small speaker that sits directly under the steering column. Didn't even know that was there. Let's just sayI will not be attempting this again, unless in a car that isn't a BMW.
That small speaker is for the hands-free telephone system.

I had my doubts at first, but that looks fantastic! I really like the removal method, lol. The only thing I can think of the MIGHT be an issues is using it for navigation and looking that far down. Of course you can just always listen to the directions and be ok.

Nice job man!
I kept laughing because I thought I was the only one who had the habbit of wiggling the gear shifter each time I start up an manual car....weather or not I shifted into gear or not.

That looks so cool! I love the way the apps load etc.. definitely a good job. Hopefully if you hit a really vicious bump it doesn't fall out on the shifter

I think I remember you saying that in an earlier post.. but I have a nice 2 inch magnet setup to hold my phone on.. and once in a while when I hit a punishing bump it will still fly off. Of course I'm on H&R lowering springs at 19" wheels now... I hate those bumps and big dips in the road
