Default Comfort Seats retrofitted! Need to change Passenger <-> Driver's seat

Hi guys,

I've retrofitted comfort seats last night. My car is '05 E60 with SA459 (Electric seats with memory, heating and lumbar support).

I've successfully installed the comfort seats and everything is working, but because the seats are take from a RIGHT hand driving car there is a bit misunderstanding as my car is LEFT hand.

In short in my car (which is LHD) the passenger's seat acts like a driver's and vise virsa.

When I turn the ignition on the passenger's seats tightens the side back supports no matter if there is someone sitting there at the moment and the drivers side seat doesn't move a bit, BUT when I fasten my seatbelt it also tightens the side back supports.

I can control the seats, the memory works, this is the only glitch.

Any help is appreciated!

Regards,
Bobby

lol did you manage to work this out? It probably needs a little bit of coding - just like the mirrors know what hand drive the car is, so it can auto dip the correct mirror when reverse is selected.
