Looking forward to the pics.

Wondering if this one below would have been brighter considering it's got 4 instead of unnitza's 2 leds...

dont think so. it just washes out the eyes.. i think its more about accurately aimed leds.

Pics ^ look awesome .

Those projector ones on Ali baba aren't for the LCI halogen headlights. Eventhough the item description doesn't make clear which e60 headlight variant they are actually meant for, just by looking at their size, it's obvious they are for the prelci Xenons instead of the LCI halogens.

...the problem with the lack of daylight visibility is the make up of the actual rings. They are way too 'lossy' - as in they waste a lot of light. They are very unlike the newer BMWs with the amazing DRL angel eyes where the rings have a 'reflective backing' making them blindingly bright. We can pump any amount of light into our LCI halogen rings BUT they will never allow the daylight 'wow' visibility that we keep aspiring to.

ive noticed this a bit too.. a lot of places are not very clear as to which headlights they will fit. sometimes they do it by year.. but after an lci swap that went out the window for me.
its snowing pretty bad right now, ill take some more snow shots in a bit, maybe it will reflect the light and give a better understanding of how these really look. in the pics above they do look awesome.. like orions, ha!
