How far has your car come since owning it? My car (thanks mainly to this forum) has completely changed, here are some of the iterations:

Back when I bought her 06/2007


She remained relatively the same until I joined here in 05/2009, then the mod bug hit hard:
First set of wheels, OEM style 125


Then, M5 Tech kit and OEM style 172s (I had 2 different sets of these)


Then the fun really began, I got some custom 20's from a buddy, coilovers and her first professional shot at a car show:


Today, after a minor accident, she looks like this:


Funny, now that I am nearing time to replace her with a newer 5er, it's good to look back at how she has evolved over the years.

Nice pis of the evolution of your E60 there, looks really good! I know a lot of guys here are moving on and getting rid of their E60s, but please keep your E60 for a while longer.... It's looking awesome!

Speaking of keeping your E60, I don't owe but a year or so on mine, and I'm really liking the thought of no car payment here soon. So I will def be owning my E60 for some time to come. Even if I did get another BMW or any car, It probably wouldn't be worth it to trade in any way.

Thanks bro, yeah, my car has come a long way in the 5.5 years I have had it. I have to admit, I am enjoying being payment free for almost a year now. I will definitely be keeping my E60 until almost the end of the year, after that..........................? I do like the work that has been done so far to my E60, and I may decide to keep it a while longer after I get the wheels refinished (they wouldn't fit on an F10 anyway).

Was payment free with my 545i for about a month. Now back to payments on the M. Can't wait til I can enjoy no payments. It'll be a while.
